Convert_Lib Info:

Convert_Lib is a C library to convert Simatic S5/S7 data (KT, KZ, KF,... and FLOAT!) into ANSI representation and vice versa. We deliver this library as source.
Convert_Lib was developed and tested under Linux. Nevertheless it can be used under Windows, only a few #includes must be adjusted for this.

In addition, the library contains a special time and date format ( computer side) to support the input and output of time and date formats as strings.
Also included: functions for conversation between different time and date formats.
  • DL left byte in 16-bit data word
  • DR right byte in 16-bit data word
  • KH word hexadecimal unsigned 16-bit
  • KF 16-bit integer
  • KT timer
  • KZ counter
  • KD 32-Bit hexadecimal or 32 bit-Integer
  • KG floating point number ( real )
  • special: Realtime clock format of S5 95U and S5 115U
The realtime clock format includes correction of time zone and summer-/winter time (DST). Refer to the manual.
